Attorney David M. Manilla is a nationally recognized instructor
in breath, blood, urine chemical and physical testing for sobriety.
He has successfully defended Driving Under the Influence cases throughout
Pennsylvania and as far as San Francisco, California. Mr. Manilla's
office is located in the greater Philadelphia area; however, he
often travels throughout Pennsylvania for representation. Attorney
Manilla has lectured at state and national levels for organizations

Educated in theories of chemical testing, Mr. Manilla has also

Presently, Attorney Manilla holds the highest degree of specific
alcohol and drug related training in Pennsylvania. No other defense

EDUCATION
Mr. Manilla has furthered his legal and toxicology education by
attending and/or participating in the fully accredited toxicology
and field sobriety testing courses, all of which pertain to impaired
driving via alcohol, controlled substances and/or prescription medication.
Presently, few (if any) defense attorneys within the Commonwealth
of Pennsylvania possess this extensive amount of training and education.

Mr. Manilla is a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration
(NHTSA) approved Field Sobriety Testing Instructor. He has also
received instructors status in breath, blood and urine analysis.

Presently, Mr. Manillas library consists of well over 150
volumes of extensive forensic and toxicology books and manuals,
as well as legal, information relating to alcohol, medication and
controlled substance impairment. Also included are operators
manuals, Pennsylvania Codes and Department of Health standards for
breath, blood and urine testing. In addition to the above reference
material, the office has (2) functional breath testing devices and
is currently working to purchase a third. The library also includes
evidentiary sampling kits for blood, urine and the Pennsylvania
Department of Healths collection sample unit required for
all approved forensic labs in Pennsylvania. Mr. Manilla has also
authored numerous articles on breath, blood, urine and field sobriety
testing.
